Bryggjan Brugghús is Iceland’s first microbrewery and bistro located in the trendiest area of Reykjavík harbourside. The bistro offers delicious local foods in a cool atmosphere and world class beverages brewed on site. Our menus offer a good variety of local seafood, salads, steaks and desserts along with some great streetfood to go along with our beers that are brewed on the premises.
A fairly recent, but a wonderful addition, to the culinary scene of Reykjavík. The establishment is run by Tibetan expats who run the only ramen and dumpling place that is solely dedicated to these treats. Since its opening in 2014, it has been a popular choice among locals.
This family run business always has a delicious main course or soup with tasty desserts, despite being a small establishment it has been a staple of the vegetarian community for many years – with good reason.
One of the few places in Reykjavik that opens at 7 a.m., offering breakfast and more. Delicious lunch; fresh fish of the day, famous spinach lasagne and variety of salads. In the evenings they have a simple menu with fresh vegetables and good meat from Icelandic farmers. Open weekdays 7-21, sat./sun. 7-17.
